European country Sweden on 2nd June introduces sex as a new sport. The country has officially declared sex as a sport and is organizing European Sex Championship on 8th June for six days. Each participant will engage in sexual activities for about 45mins to 1 hour daily. A panel of appraisers will remark on the participants based on the couple’s intimacy, chemistry, and performance. According to the report, the audience will also influence the final decision by noticing the sexual activity of the participants.

It is reported that the championship will include 20 couples from different countries as participants. The participants can score between 5 to 10 points based on their sexual activities which include oral sex, seduction, penetration, endurance, number of orgasms, knowledge about sex, chemistry and communication between the couple, appearance, and so on.

Kamasutra, an ancient Indian script in Sanskrit is associated with sexuality and intimate relationships. It is not solely focused on sexual positions. It covers a wide range of topics, including courtship, marriage, seduction, finding a partner, and maintaining relationships. It also discusses principles of aesthetics, lifestyle, and personal fulfillment. The participants can gain extra points based on their knowledge of ‘Kamasutra”. 

The social media is thrilled about the competition as such. The organizers of event have expressed their excitement stating that such an event will be a massive groundbreaking development among European countries. Dargan Bratchy, the chairman of the Swedish Federation of Sex, highlighted the potential for physical and mental well-being through sexual activity. He also mentioned the recognition of sex as an inevitable sport. “Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well,” said Bratych, as quoted by Times of India.
