Mumbai has scored 219 runs while batting first. In this, star player Suryakumar Kumar Yadav has scored a century of 103 runs in 49 balls. Surya hit 11 fours and 6 sixes in his innings. After Harry Brook, Venkatesh Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav became the fourth batsman to score a century in the 16th season of IPL.

Suryakumar Yadav became the third batsman to score the highest individual score for Mumbai Indians. Sanath Jayasuriya from Mumbai scored an unbeaten 114 in 48 balls against Chennai Super Kings in 2008. Rohit Sharma scored 109 not out against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012. So now Surya scored an unbeaten 103 in 49 balls.
